A tour of my German apartment!

Today, I’m going to give you guys a tour of my German apartment! The place itself is quite spacey and it’s in a neighbourhood that has lots of grocery stores, pharmacies, a post office, banks, and tram stop all less than a minute away.

Our lovely kitchen!

The living room with the couch that folds out. So far it’s been perfect if I have lots of friends staying over. Plus the place is big enough to throw some fun parties.

Hallway

This is the bathroom with my roommate’s American Psycho curtains. It freaks me out sometimes!

My room! Proudly furnished by Ikea. It’s quite spacey since I don’t have too much furniture, but I’m planning on doing a series of paintings and drawings to hang up on the walls. Do you see my Lebkuchenherz hanging on my wall? 🙂

Nice job finding this place…It took me three months to find an apartment here in Berlin and even then, it’s nowhere near as nice as yours. That’s in large part because I have no furniture and until I get over my disdain for shopping and my even larger disdain for carrying heavy things, I will be living in a room with a mattress and a chair.

And those shower curtains……I would ask a lot of questions about the previous tenant’s reasons for moving out before moving in…and making sure the previous tenant is still alive might not be a bad idea either.

Yea I find furniture shopping fun, but getting it all home is a bummer. I’m happy my roommate has a car, or else my room would probably just have a mattress and chair as well! And haha those shower curtains are my current roommate’s so it’s all good! 🙂

Very minimalist! I like it. My Korean apartment is starting to get waaay too messy. Must mean I’ve accumulated too many things again. Time to declutter!
